เมื่อ 13 สิงหาคม 2563 เวลา 09.40 น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ พระครูโสภณพุทธิศาสตร์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายประชาสัมพันธ์และเผยแผ่ พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มจร ให้การต้อนรับ นาย นีล มูระตะ ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายวัฒนธรรมและการศึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสหรัฐอเมริกา ประจำประเทศไทย (Mr. Neal Murata, Cultural Attache of the U.S. Embassy) และคณะ โดยเริ่มต้นได้ถวายเครื่องสักการะหน้าพระบรมรูปรัชกาลที่ 5 ถวายดอกไม้และผ้าไตรสักการะพระบรมสารีริกธาตุในหอพระไตรปิฎก เยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัย ถวายสักการะพระประธานในอุโบสถกลางน้ำ เยี่ยมชมศาลาการเปรียญ ดร.อุไรศรี คะนึงสุขเกษม ดูสถานที่และ ประชุมเพื่อทำความเข้าใจวัฒนธรรมและการจัดการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัย เนื่องในโอกาสที่ ท่านเอกอัครราชทูตอเมริกาประจำประเทศไทย จะเดินทางมาเยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัย และพบผู้บริหาร ในวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2563 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย (มจร) ต.ลำไทร อ.วังน้อย อยุธยา

On 13 Aug, 2563/2020, at 09:40, MCU: Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs, is with administers, lecturers, staff of MCU to welcome Mr. Neal Murata, Culture Attache of the U.S. Embassy, who is a representative of U.S Embassy in Bangkok with his group. They are firstly going to pay respect to the King Rama V statue and  offer flower garland with robe to the Relics in Tipitaka hall, also sightseeing around MCU. After that they continue to Uposatha Hall to worship the Buddha. Moreover, they hold a meeting which is related about understanding MCU culture and education for getting information. The meeting is prepared for U.S Ambassador to visit MCU next week at Wat Mahachularachuthis, Ayutthaya, Thailand.
