วันที่ 30 – 31 ธ.ค. 58 พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รก. ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต พร้อมด้วยพระมหาไพรัชน์ ธมฺมทีโป ผอ.สำนักงานอธิการบดี และผู้ติดตาม ไปดูงานสอบผู้ทรงพระไตรปิฏก ปีที่ 68 ของคณะสงฆ์เมียนมาร์ มีพระสงฆ์ผู้เข้าสอบ 128 รูป มีสุภาพบุรุษสอบ 71 คน ใช้เวลาสอบปากเปล่า 18 วัน สอบข้อเขียน 5 วัน พัก 7 วัน (สลับวัน) เริ่มวันที่ 27 ธ.ค. 58 เสร็จสิ้นการสอบ 26 ม.ค. 59 (08.00-10.00 / 13.00-16.00) ณ มหาปาสาณคูหา ย่างกุ้ง สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมาร์

On 30-31 Dec 2558, Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU went to see the Myanmar Bhikkhus and lay people examining the Tipitaka (The three baskets are: the Basket of Discipline (Vinaya Pitaka), the Basket of Discourses (Sutta Pitaka), and the Basket of Ultimate Things (Abhidhamma Pitaka). The 68th examination of Tipitaka has 128 Bhikkhus and 71 lay persons to be joined in starting from 27 Dec 2558 to 27 Jan 2559 at Mahapasana Cave, Kaba Aye Hillock, Yangon, Myanmar.
